Masterpiece

Have you ever seen an amazing piece of art work? You stop and think, admire it and overall it is a masterpiece. We are all a masterpiece. Now this can either go tow ways, you may think thats hard to be believe or you are confident and you already know it. But either way, it never hurts to be reminded that we were all made in Gods image. I think many of us have heard that before, I know I have but if you go about your day, scroll through social media, or walk around and see different people you encounter, you can slowly start to drift away from the idea that you are a masterpiece. In todays society it an be easy to lose sight of that. wIth social media platforms and even dealing with identity confusion we constantly need this reminder. I know that when I scroll through Instagram it can be easy to envy someone and diminish your self worth, but you and I were uniquely and wonderfully made. No matter your physical appearance or even taking it a step further what you own does not define you. ” For we are Gods masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago” Ephesians 2:10 It amazes me that God knew me before I was even a thought on this Earth. We are not a mistake and were meant to be here in this day and time. Sure we all have flaws but God made us anew in him. So with this it is just a simple reminder to view yourself as a masterpiece because your creator is the King of Kings and Lord of Lords and the greater of this whole world so I don’t know about you but thats pretty dang awesome.
