Work Flow

So recently I have been going through a bit of a job transition. I love working with kids. I have been working with kids through volunteer work and through paid positions since I was thirteen. I have four siblings so naturally I grew up taking care of my them and eventually found a real passion for working with kids throughout high school. I have worked with about every age group from the nursery through middle school aged children. I was working for a before and after school program for about two years at a Christian Church. I thought that was a dream, working with kids while implanting Christ like values. Like HELLO, SCORE! That was awesome for me! This past November a position opened up in the Children’s Ministry. The Children’s Ministry Assistant position opened up and the Children’s Ministry director talked to me about it and their interest in me applying. I had a formal interview and couple days later the job was officially mine! I started in December of last year and I am absolutely living the dream! I work in Children’s Ministry and I absolutely never thought that was something within my reach. God honestly has control over our lives even in times where we don’t think we need guidance. I mean we are always in need of guidance but we get so comfortable that it just seems fine where we are. God never wants us to be comfortable so he sends curveballs our way to keep us on our feet. So this is my curveball in my current season of life. I am still learning but I am loving every minute of it. Absorbing all the knowledge and wisdom from those around me has been a blessing. So don’t get too comfortable because that season won’t last forever. No matter what season you are in, what job you currently have, Gods plans are always WAY better than what we can even imagine. Trust in his plans and his timing because when we try and take it into our own measures it will never work out as perfectly as Gods masterpiece.
