How many of us have plans, goals and aspirations? Well I am more than positive all of us do. Whether or not they are long term or short term goals or plans, we all have at least one.

I came across this image on Pinterest that said “DON’T TELL PEOPLE YOUR PLANS SHOW THEM YOUR RESULTS”. I read it and kind of thought about it for a minute and realized how much of a truth that is. I have gone through many experiences myself that have served me as a learning curve. Once you tell people your plans it is out in the open. Some people will wish you well but let’s be very honest and say that many people won’t speak very good things about it. Whether it is intentional or not comments are said, opinions are made and well not everyone is going to agree with your plans, support them or even wish you well. It honestly is a sad truth we all kind of have to come to terms with. From my personal experience I have learned to keep my plans to myself. (With the exception of telling my mom cause well she’s my mom lol) Sure I slip up and start blabbing away sometimes to people, I mean excitement gets to you of course but I have learned the hard way on who to share things with and who maybe not give all the details to. It is not that I don’t trust people but isn’t there a saying that states “It’s easier said than done”. It is easy to tell people of what you want to achieve but isn’t it just better to show them? I am not going to tell you that you shouldn’t share your aspirations with others but I I feel like it is better if you just show them the end result. The process we all go through to achieve something is of course difficult and a journey of its own but when you don’t have all those “bad vibes” coming your way I bet it’s going to be a slightly smoother journey. Sometimes it’s better to rely on yourself and God. I mean what better cheerleader could you ask for than God himself. He won’t leave you nor forsake you, you have one heck of a support system right there.

“For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Jeremiah 29:11

I love that bible verse because it serves us as reminder that God knows our plans and he has a plan for us. If we lean on him that is more than enough to get us started and motivated to keep on going. Push on through and keep on going because the end result to whatever plan you may have going or maybe are thinking of starting will be amazing. Show them your results and what brought you to the end result. Trust in God because his plans are far better than ours, he knows us better than anyone else does. He will be there to encourage you not bring you down and motivate you and lift you up when you’re down. Friends and people in general are there but not always the most honest and uplifting help. They may be there one moment and the next not so much. So I don’t know what you may need to focus on but keep on going. Everyone is different and maybe you may not agree with this or it may not work for you. I’m not sure but from my personal experience this has been something that I have learned to do. I want to strive to be the best version of myself that I could possibly be. I don’t need the satisfaction of people nor any comments or negative and unsupportive energy. “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me”. Philippians 4:13. If you believe in yourself then why not just go for it?
